This charming beach house is located in Tonka Bay right across from Lake Minnetonka. Kitchen & bath designer Danielle Lardani took the kitchen from dark and dated to fresh and bright.

A stunning custom island and buffet replaced a dual level peninsula. The homeowners wanted to be able to look out onto the water while sitting at their kitchen island, so Danielle designed a custom island with space for an extra seat at either end. The homeowners have already claimed their specific ends!

Décor Cabinet Company's traditional door style in Benjamin Moore's White Dove gives the kitchen a bright yet warm feel, replacing 90's neo-craftsman cabinetry. Decorative corbels and light railing add to the kitchen's elevated look.

Just off the kitchen, a dry bar in Benjamin Moore's Hale Navy with bold brass hardware makes a grand statement and gives a nod to the home's location on Lake Minnetonka. Integrated lighting and a backsplash of reflective tile keep things bright. In terms of functionality, the dry bar includes an under-cabinet wine refrigerator and unique drawers for bottle storage. Brass hardware and a consistent cabinet door style create cohesion between the two spaces.
