Growing up in a family remodeling business, Claire has always been immersed in the construction industry. The smell of sawdust reminds her of visiting jobsites as a kid! Beyond fond memories, she gained an understanding of how things go together, as well as how contractors work and the challenges they face. This allows Claire to anticipate the needs of installers and contractors, often saving her clients time, money, and unnecessary stress!
In 2013, Claire earned her Kitchen & Bath Design Certification and began work at Studio M. As a designer, Claire helps clients balance what they want with what will work best in their space. She loves to discuss all the options, so clients can feel comfortable making final decisions on their project. Claire has earned a reputation for her attention to detail, her breadth of knowledge, and her commitment to the satisfaction of every client. Her talent is showcased by her most recent award-winning designs in the 2019 NKBA chapter competition, where she placed 1st in both the Large and Small Kitchen categories. We’re sure there are more in her future!
When she’s not designing, Claire enjoys shopping for deals at Aldi, working out with her husband, and indulging in the occasional Broadway Pizza cheat meal.

Hardworking, creative, and service-minded, Danielle is the third generation of her family to be involved in the design industry. As a small child, she was fascinated by the blueprints that her father brought home from the commercial drywall and plaster company that was founded by her grandfather. It was there that her love of design was first sparked!
After completing her AAS degree in Interior Design, Danielle continued her studies at the Florence Design Academy in Italy. During her studies in Europe, her passion was ignited when she realized that the kitchen was truly the heart of the home – and that became her inspiration to take the NKBA accredited program in Kitchen and Bath Design upon her return to the US.
A true “people person,” Danielle’s outgoing nature puts her clients at ease and fosters many lasting relationships! In each project, her goal is two-fold: to ensure that her client’s finished space truly reflects them, and that they feel taken care of throughout the entire process.
When Danielle’s not measuring a space for her newest design, you can find her, snowmobiling up north (weather permitting!), laughing with friends over a good meal (Italian, of course!) or enjoying her morning breve with cinnamon and honey.

Shawn has been in the Kitchen and Bath industry for over 30 years. While he has designed spaces of every shape, size, and style imaginable, his favorite style is a tasteful mix of rustic and contemporary. Prior to joining Studio M Kitchen & Bath, Shawn spent 17 years doing cabinetry work for various builders and remodelers. He did such a great job for the contractor’s clients that they often had him do their own kitchens!
Clients love working with Shawn because he really gets to know them well. They develop a rapport that starts with the project, but often continues as an enduring friendship. His designs reflect how clients want to feel when they are in the space. He enjoys the challenge of seeing beyond a tired, dated space and envisions the potential for something new and exciting. But there is another important aspect of remodeling: the unique characteristics of the existing house. Shawn’s years of experience allow him to spot potential issues or problems that should be addressed during the remodeling process, ultimately saving his clients time and money.

From early on, Leah had an eye for detail, and a passion for making the everyday more beautiful. She loved drawing floorplans, dreaming up décor, and crafts of all kinds. She planned to study Interior Design, but it never felt quite right for her technical nature. So, she graduated from the College of St. Benedict in 2009 with an English major and Art minor. After working in the Event Industry for several years, designing décor for events, she decided she needed to re-evaluate.
It turns out that Kitchen and Bath Design was the job she never knew she was looking for… a natural fit for her creative eye and technical precision. She graduated from an NKBA-accredited program in 2016 with honors and started at Studio M as an intern in 2017. She loves the daily collaboration with our design team, and is passionate about improving clients’ daily lives by giving them a space tailor-made for their lifestyle.
When she’s not drafting a floorplan, you can find Leah late-night cooking in her kitchen, working in her garden, or spending time at the family cabin in Walker, MN.

Mary’s love for detail and organization is deep-rooted and began as a young child. Growing up, she spent many evenings sitting on her mom’s lap watching while her mom, an architectural designer, created plans for new homes. As she grew older, Mary had the opportunity to help her parents renovate their 1926 Elmslie (Prairie School) house and bring back its original charm. She also spent many evenings and weekends at her parents’ custom cabinet shop staining cabinets. All these experiences helped develop and inspire Mary’s love for detailed design.
During her college summers, she immersed herself in her parents’ cabinet business, taking on some CAD work, doing measures, and providing operational support. By the time she graduated from North Dakota State in the Spring of 2020 with a major in Interior Design, she was ready to pursue a career in kitchen and bath design. We are pleased to welcome Mary to Studio M Kitchen & Bath.

When Olivia moved from Southern California to Minnesota as a teenager, her youthful passion for art and design were unleashed in an unexpected way: she designed her bedroom in her new home. The spark was ignited, and from then on, Olivia knew what she was meant to do. She completed the NKBA-accredited Kitchen and Bath program at Century College and continued her education at the University of Wisconsin – Stout with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design. Following internships in both commercial and residential design, she zeroed in on residential design, as it allows her to “turn her client’s house into a home.” In fact, Olivia was named 2018 Co-op Student of the Year for her outstanding work as an intern in a California residential interior design firm.
Olivia’s kitchen and bath foundation informed her interior design work and gave her a unique perspective, with her designs often featuring beautiful built-in cabinetry. She put all the pieces together and pursued a position in the residential kitchen and bath industry. Olivia’s enthusiasm, artistic talent and creativity make her a valuable contributor to the Studio M Kitchen & Bath team.
A California Girl at heart, Olivia remains an ardent Anaheim Ducks fans. We’re too “Minnesota Nice” to hold that against her, as we’re pretty confident that she’ll eventually go local and support the Minnesota Wild.
