Claire Teunissen
Kitchen & Bath Designer

Growing up in a family remodeling business, Claire has always been immersed in the construction industry. The smell of sawdust reminds her of visiting jobsites as a kid! Beyond fond memories, she gained an understanding of how things go together, as well as how contractors work and the challenges they face. This allows Claire to anticipate the needs of installers and contractors, often saving her clients time, money, and unnecessary stress!

In 2013, Claire earned her Kitchen & Bath Design Certification and began work at Studio M. As a designer, Claire helps clients balance what they want with what will work best in their space. She loves to discuss all the options, so clients can feel comfortable making final decisions on their project. Claire has earned a reputation for her attention to detail, her breadth of knowledge, and her commitment to the satisfaction of every client. Her talent is showcased by her most recent award-winning designs in the 2020 NKBA chapter competition, where she placed 1st in both the Large and Small Kitchen categories.

Claire and her husband are thrilled to be expecting their first child in April. To allow her to focus exclusively on her family when the baby arrives, Claire is no longer accepting any new projects.

Danielle Lardani
Kitchen & Bath Designer

Hardworking, creative, and service-minded, Danielle is the third generation of her family to be involved in the design industry. As a small child, she was fascinated by the blueprints that her father brought home from the commercial drywall and plaster company that was founded by her grandfather. It was there that her love of design was first sparked!

After completing her AAS degree in Interior Design, Danielle continued her studies at the Florence Design Academy in Italy. During her studies in Europe, her passion was ignited when she realized that the kitchen was truly the heart of the home – and that became her inspiration to take the NKBA accredited program in Kitchen and Bath Design upon her return to the US.

A true “people person,” Danielle’s outgoing nature puts her clients at ease and fosters many lasting relationships! In each project, her goal is two-fold: to ensure that her client’s finished space truly reflects them, and that they feel taken care of throughout the entire process.

When Danielle’s not measuring a space for her newest design, you can find her, snowmobiling up north (weather permitting!), laughing with friends over a good meal (Italian, of course!) or enjoying her morning breve with cinnamon and honey.

Shawn Wilson
Kitchen & Bath Designer

Shawn has been in the Kitchen and Bath industry for over 30 years. While he has designed spaces of every shape, size, and style imaginable, his favorite style is a tasteful mix of rustic and contemporary. Prior to joining Studio M Kitchen & Bath, Shawn spent 17 years doing cabinetry work for various builders and remodelers. He did such a great job for the contractor’s clients that they often had him do their own kitchens!

Clients love working with Shawn because he really gets to know them well.  They develop a rapport that starts with the project, but often continues as an enduring friendship. His designs reflect how clients want to feel when they are in the space. He enjoys the challenge of seeing beyond a tired, dated space and envisions the potential for something new and exciting.  But there is another important aspect of remodeling: the unique characteristics of the existing house. Shawn’s years of experience allow him to spot potential issues or problems that should be addressed during the remodeling process, ultimately saving his clients time and money.

Danee Bohn, CMKBD
Kitchen & Bath Designer

Danee is a true cabinetry expert with a keen eye for design. Her ability to adapt to various styles allows her to provide unique design solutions for her clients and help them transform their spaces into rooms that they love.

Her bubbly personality makes her easy to work with throughout the design process. She builds lasting relationships with contractors and tradespeople, works with them to ensure the project is done right, and takes care of her clients along the way.

Danee received her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design at the University of Nebraska - Kearney. Danee’s design career then took her to Anchorage, AK where she specialized in designing kitchens & bathrooms for 7 years and had several of her design projects published in the Alaska’s Best Kitchen Magazine and a feature in Alaska Home Magazine.

Over the course of her design career, Danee has been an active member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association and was a 2015 NKBA 30 Under 30 recipient, 2016 Best of KBIS Judge, NKBA Southern Californian Chapter’s 2019 Design Contest Judge and 2020 30 Under 30 Judge.

When not sharing her expertise or working on fun design projects, she enjoys traveling, outdoor activities/weight training and attending live Broadway performances.

Olivia Flicker
Kitchen & Bath Designer

When Olivia moved from Southern California to Minnesota as a teenager, her youthful passion for art and design were unleashed in an unexpected way: she designed her bedroom in her new home. The spark was ignited, and from then on, Olivia knew what she was meant to do.  She completed the NKBA-accredited Kitchen and Bath program at Century College and continued her education at the University of Wisconsin – Stout with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design. Following internships in both commercial and residential design, she zeroed in on residential design, as it allows her to “turn her client’s house into a home.” In fact, Olivia was named 2018 Co-op Student of the Year for her outstanding work as an intern in a California residential interior design firm.

Olivia’s kitchen and bath foundation informed her interior design work and gave her a unique perspective, with her designs often featuring beautiful built-in cabinetry. She put all the pieces together and pursued a position in the residential kitchen and bath industry. Olivia’s enthusiasm, artistic talent and creativity make her a valuable contributor to the Studio M Kitchen & Bath team.

A California Girl at heart, Olivia remains an ardent Anaheim Ducks fans. We’re too “Minnesota Nice” to hold that against her, as we’re pretty confident that she’ll eventually go local and support the Minnesota Wild.

Bre Haefner
Kitchen & Bath Designer

Little did Bre know when she struck up a conversation with her seatmate (who happened to be Studio M Kitchen & Bath General Manager Kelly Davert) on a flight several years ago that their relationship would blossom into an enduring career mentorship, leading to Bre’s dream job here at Studio M Kitchen & Bath.

Bre grew up in the remodeling business in Fargo, North Dakota, often accompanying her father to job site visits. Her powerful work ethic was influenced, in part, by observing her parents and their commitment to always being honest, trustworthy and living up to expectations. Bre loved hands-on work, regardless of whether it was with a tool belt or gathering fabric swatches. After earning her BA in Interior Design, Bre moved to the Twin Cities to launch her career.

After starting out in home design product sales, Bre transitioned to cabinetry design and soon found her passion. She places a high priority on building strong relationships with her clients and asking the right questions to learn how they live – or want to live - in their home. Her designs reflect their visions and enhance the functionality of each space.

When she’s not working, Bre enjoys being on the water with family and friends in the summer, and vacationing in warm places in the winter. But most of all she loves spending time with her fiancé and their black lab puppy, Pyper.

Cindy Biebl, AKBD
Design Assistant

Cindy has always been drawn to design. Following 20 years in the medical field, Cindy decided to follow her heart and transition to a second career in kitchen and bath design. She enrolled in Century College’s NKBA-accredited program, with her passion and eye for design earning her Outstanding Student of the Year, as well as two 2nd Place finishes in NKBA’s national student design competition: one for kitchen design, and one for bath design. After graduating in May, 2020, she passed the NKBA certification exam and earned the title of Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer (AKBD).

If Cindy were to pick a favorite design style, it would be transitional, given her love of light and bright, with a balance of soft lines and natural wood accents. Cindy’s top tips for kitchen design: optimize functionality with drawers, blind corner solutions, and larder cabinets.

When Cindy is not helping our team create beautiful kitchens, she can be found enjoying the outdoors, biking with her husband, or tending her garden.
